Current

These are two prints hanging at Brandon Gallery this month. When you're there for "Art By The Inch" (good time would be the reception on June 25 - 4-7) , find them. They're better in person.

Art By The Inch

Art By The Inch just got under way at Brandon Gallery. Our 30-foot long painting (a collaboration of 15 artists) is being sold for $1/square inch all this week. It's great fun to paint and to sell; and it's a major fund-raiser for the gallery. I'll post some pictures soon.
Another collaborative piece with Risa Gettler just won an award at Escondido Municipal Gallery's current exhibit. An image of "Roots and Branches" is in an older post.

"An Exultation of Marks" just went up on Letraset's website (May 23).
They were very enthused about how we used the old products.

An Exultation of Marks

This is my latest collaboration with artist/friend
Risa Gettler. It was especially fun to capture some
of our shared design history through her use
of old Letraset rub-on sheets to create the
foliage.

never TMI

I've had the pleasure of taking two terrific workshops in the past month. In one I learned to make solarplates to use in my prints. In the other, I re-invigorated my love of painting. Workshops always give me new perspective on my work and how to develop my ideas. These two have opened the floodgates; I can't wait to get the next concept down on paper or canvas. I hope it goes on and on. I'm posting a couple of prints. I'll post some paintings soon.
